The hotel is located in Agia Marina, just 9 km from the city of Chania, between two exits from the National Road (Galatas or Platanias depending on the direction). Loose trace of time by walking in the narrow streets of the Venetian harbor, try local delicacies and strong “raki” spirit, taste homemade desserts, enjoy dinner in traditional taverns by the sea, buy souvenirs and clothes in the fashionable shops of Chania or in the neighboring Platanias. Other activities such as mini- golf, bowling, go-carting, a water-park, the Botanical Garden are all –relatively- very close to the hotel.
Climb to the Venetian castle which used to be a pirate’s shelter in Grambousa and swim in the tropical lagoon of Balos. Run barefoot in the pink sand (consisting of tiny shells) in Elafonisi, put your stuff on your shoulders and walk through the sea to reach the island, full of white lilies and bushes. Take the boat to Loutro -Sfakia and spend a day in the picturesque fishing village, which is connected with the outside world only by sea. Listen to the waves caressing black and white pebbles in the beach of Krios, in Paleochora. Take unique photos of the orange sun vanishing into the sea in the nearby beach of Falassarna.
